Military & Veterans Resource Center

UWF is a recognized military and veteran friendly institution by Military Times, GI Jobs, and Military Advanced Education. The UWF MVRC provides assistance for active duty military, military veterans, active duty/veteran spouses and dependent children with or without educational benefits. The MVRC assists students who have received educational benefits transferred to them from their active duty parents (post 9/11 GI Bill).



UWF Army ROTC is a High Adventure Program designed to teach communications and leadership while emphasizing physical conditioning and teamwork. Although no JROTC experience is required, JROTC cadets from all service branches will quickly find themselves feeling like part of the family. Freshmen participate in physical fitness, land navigation, paint ball, water survival, M-16 live fire, rappel training and helicopter rides.

AFROTC will demand integrity, academic dedication and a commitment to overall excellence! You will live the college life while working towards your commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force; while completing a baccalaureate degree.
